S. M. A. S. H. is an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) chartered club. Established in 1985, we are one of the oldest R/C clubs in south Texas. We enjoy a wide range of R/C aircraft including sport planes, scale war-birds, and scale aerobatic planes as well as several helicopter jockeys. The membership is a great group of guys of all ages that enjoy the great sport of model airplanes. We have a good representation of "Winter Texans" in our club and their participation is a great asset to the club when they are in the RGV. Pictured below are the 2008 Club Officers. |
